Thankful

A Lesson Learned:

He is a wise man who does not grieve
for the things which he has not,
but rejoices for that which he has.

Epictetus

This past week, I have found myself counting my blessings, and my heart is most definitely full of GRATITUDE.  The good Lord as blessed me with so much... my family, my husband, my health, my job, my home... the list is endless.

I may not have everything I want, or feel I deserve at the moment, but I am indeed grateful for all that I do have. And I'm grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that knows the desires of my heart and I am humbled each day as I am reminded to trust Him.

For now, I must say, life is good... how can I not be happy with these two?

All You Need Is Love

Saw this video on a friend's blog tonight and had to share...

I am SO grateful to be SO in love with my sweetheart!
And so grateful that it's FOREVER :)

Fall

Normally, I would say that I've been too busy to blog... but I'll be honest, I've just been lazy.  With Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram all fighting for my time, my blog has taken a back seat. (How pathetic am I?  I assure you, I do have a life outside my phone and computer... sometimes.)

It's finally FALL!!
Except for the few days lately that have still felt like summer, which I'm not complaining about.  But the weather is definitely changing and believe it or not, I am excited!

Here's the last couple of months in pictures...
This handsome man and I celebrated 3 years of blissful (cough, cough) marriage :)
He is still wonderful, and funny and smart.
And I'm still crazy about him, so I think I'll keep him.

This little gem was born in August and I am obsessed with her.
And she thinks I'm pretty cool too :)

We became grown ups and bought our very own couch...

And....
We finished painting!
Our bedroom and master bath.

I had a surge of craftiness and made a few things...
(foam board and scrapbooking paper... thank you HGTV)
(wood letters, painted and glittered. black frames from the dollar store. scrapbooking paper and a little spray adhesive. easy and CHEAP!)
I wish I could say I made this, but I did not.
Tai Pan Trading did.

Pumpkin patch and...
New hair...
($20 on eBay! Shhhh, don't tell)

My obsession as of late:
If you aren't already on Pinterest, do it. NOW.
You will surprisingly NOT find time for your blog.

Preview

Here's a little sneak peek of the family pictures we took while up in Montana.  We had the photographer take a few of just the couples as well :)

The rest are coming soon... hopefully!

Montana

A few weeks ago the Helean clan ventured up to Missoula for a week long vaykay to celebrate Papa Larry's 75th birthday.  This was the first time that the whole Helean family was together in Montana since, I don't know when!  It was so awesome that we were all able to be there. I absolutely LOVE my Montana family!

What a blessing it is to have this cute old man in our lives!
We love you Papa :)
