Jace and I had a wonderful Christmas this year!!  Here's just a few pictures from our enjoyable day :)

This was our big Christmas present that we've been enjoying since Black Friday!

You know you're married when you buy each other the EXACT SAME ice scraper without the other spouse knowing :) We got a pretty good laugh out of this.

The one and only thing a really really wanted in my stocking :) So glad I got my little round bottle of coke!

Why I Married Him

A few days before Christmas I captured THE BEST photo of my life... of my married life anyway :) I knew I made a good decision saying Yes to this guy...

Believe it or not, he is a clean FREAK... I don't even remember the last time I myself vacuumed under the couch cushions :)

You've Had A Birthday... Shout HOORAY!!

Yes, it was that time of year again... 4 days before Christmas and a very inconvenient time to have a birthday, or so my husband says :) But it seems he had no trouble whatsoever making my birthday this year wonderful :) He never ceases to amaze me. Some may disagree but I absolutely LOVE having my birthday this time of year. It just adds to all the fun of the holidays! And it's even better when you're fortunate enough to celebrate it ALL WEEKEND! Thanks to my wonderful parents and in-laws, oh, and the amazing love of my life, turning 25 was GREAT!

I had to work on my birthday, but these were waiting at my office for me when I got there :) How my man pulled it off, I still don't know... I leave for work before him every morning... it remains a mystery.

When the waitress brought out my free birthday dessert, on the plate with it, was a little box wrapped in red polka dotted paper... in the box was my favorite perfume. The kind that I wore when Jace and I first started dating, which I haven't had since then and which I was missing terribly :) I was beyond delighted!   Smooth, very smooth :) That's why I love him.

A Christmas Temple Trip

This past Tuesday, Jace and I went up to Salt Lake with our friends Shawn and Britney to do an endowment session at the temple.  This was our first time doing a session at Salt Lake, and our first time ever in a live session as well... it was great! :) We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves... And it's really not Christmas without the Lights At Temple Square, so of course we had to take advantage of that while we were up there.  It was a very fun night and being with this man made it that much more enjoyable. I sure do love him :)

A Few Christmas-ish Pics

Last night was Jace's work Christmas Party at Thanksgiving Point... The darling Christmas decor shops they have there, I found to be a prime place to snap a few shots of Jace and I.  That is, until the old mean man kicked us out because the store was closed.  But we did get a few good ones...

Midnight Madness

Thanks to my amazing sister, we were able to go to the midnight showing without the insane lines and crazy people.  We had V.I.P. event passes to a theater that was RENTED out!  Talk about a ridiculously fun time!  And thanks to my 3 hour nap the afternoon before the showing, I wasn't tired at all!!  I loved every second of it... especially the seconds with him :)

A Gutsy Move

You're Killin' Me Smalls

Squints and Wendy Peffercorn had a blast of a Halloween this year!!  With 3 parties drawn out throughout the week, we definitely made great use of our costumes!!  Which were admired by many :)

On top of all the Halloween hub-ub, my sweetheart had a birthday.  We celebrated all weekend...

Then on Halloween night, Texas Roadhouse with the Helean clan...

And tonight, my parents took us out for Jace's Birthday... to Texas Roadhouse :) Twice in 2 days!!  Love that place!  However, Jace and I should've taken THEM out seeing as today was my Daddy's birthday :)  What a weekend!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the two most important men in my life :) I love you both!!

Carving My Pumpkin

I originally wanted to carve this:

  Yes, that's Edward Cullen :)  Jace said if that pumpkin ended up outside on our porch, he'd smash it :)  So, I decided I'd try this:

A scary toothfairy... very fitting I'd say :)  So, I got to work...

After gutting my pumpkin and taping the pattern on, I began punching the holes.  After all the holes were punched, I removed the pattern, ready to start cutting! Much to my disappointment, all that I could see were a bunch of tiny holes randomly marking up my pumpkin... I could not make out the pattern AT ALL.  After a little whining and an angry scream,  I ended up with this:

It's no scary toothfairy and definitely NOT Edward Cullen, but I'm pretty proud of my free hand work :) Next year, I'll try a much easier pattern.
