Heaven On Earth

Mid to upper 90's, 80 degree water, amazing food, KILLER tan lines and awesome people. That's what our week long trip to Lake Powell consisted of a few weeks ago.  Pure bliss :)

Happy 4th

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!  My favorite holiday of the year!  We were able to enjoy a lot of the wonderful festivities and the best part was dragging them out over 4 days!  Rather than having to drive back and forth from Lehi to Provo (where the majority of everything took place) Jace and I stayed down in Springville with my parents for the weekend :) Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us sleepover! 

This was pretty much the only hot air balloon we got to see... it was too windy the morning we went.  None of the balloons even launched... kind of a bummer :(

Gratitude...

1. I am grateful for 90 degree temperatures 

2. I am grateful for my wonderful in-laws, that's including my darling sister-in-law and her husband

3. I am grateful for Costco

4. I am grateful for the incredible blessings that come from paying tithing

5. I am grateful for our $7.00 floating mattresses that have provided many relaxing hours at our pool :)

Manti

Last weekend Jace and I had the opportunity to take a trip down to Manti for an overnight getaway.  We stayed at the Manti House Inn, a darling, antique-ish bed & breakfast. We decided to make the most of our time while there, so we ventured over to the temple grounds to watch the Mormon Miracle Pageant.  And the next morning, before heading back north, we did an endowment session at the temple. It was a short, but wonderful little trip!

Gratitude...

1. I am incredibly grateful for the blessings of the temple

3. I am grateful for 'Plackers Mint Flossers'

4. I am grateful for my pillow (it is seriously THE BEST)

5. I am grateful that I get to see Carrie Underwood in 5 days!

The Happiest Place On Earth, Really.

It felt like I was married to a 5 year old.  And for once, I didn't mind :) All he kept saying was, "This really is the happiest place on earth!" We had so much fun on our recent trip to California and Disneyland... and being there with my ENTIRE family for a whole week, made it that much more worth it! At the end of the week, Jace and I were able to visit his mission in Southern California. He showed me a few of his areas, and introduced me to some of his favorite families.  Here are some pictures of our fun times...
