Cruisin

A couple of weeks ago we had the wonderful opportunity to go on a cruise with Jace's parents. We left out of Miami and visited, Key West Florida, George Town Cayman Islands, and Ocho Rios Jamaica. We came home tanned, tired and ten pounds heavier! But we had an absolute BLAST!

Now for the picture overload...

Day One: Boarding

Day 2: Key West
Key Lime Pie... yum.

Day 3: At Sea

Day 4: Cayman Islands

Day 5: Jamaica

Still Day 5...

Day 6: Another Day At Sea

Day 7: Packing Up :(

But we did get to play in Fort Lauderdale for a bit...

Day 8: Coming Home... at 5 a.m. Blah...

We had such a great time creating fond memories with the in-laws :)
In fact, Julene is already planning our next cruise!
Bring it on!

Twenty Twelve

Wait, 2012?

Am I going crazy? Isn't the world suppose to end this year?
On my birthday to be exact, December 21st 2012... we're toast.
Speaking of birthdays, I had one. Again. A few weeks ago. I am now considered LATE 20's.
Yuck.

Good thing I was spoiled rotten by the husband. It wasn't too bad I guess.
A few pictures as proof...
Another band for my already gorgeous wedding ring... a girl can never have enough diamonds :)
Like I said, spoiled.

Another Christmas, gone. Just like that. It really didn't even feel like Christmas this year. The sunshine and warm temps could've played a part in that.
No snow on Christmas?
I mean really?
Christmas-y church attire
Sunroof and sunglasses on Christmas day.
That's just crazy.
I adore them :)
Merry Christmas.

AND,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Here's to hoping that THIS year is OUR year ;)
Send your good vibes our way!

Thankful

A Lesson Learned:

He is a wise man who does not grieve
for the things which he has not,
but rejoices for that which he has.

Epictetus

This past week, I have found myself counting my blessings, and my heart is most definitely full of GRATITUDE.  The good Lord as blessed me with so much... my family, my husband, my health, my job, my home... the list is endless.

I may not have everything I want, or feel I deserve at the moment, but I am indeed grateful for all that I do have. And I'm grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that knows the desires of my heart and I am humbled each day as I am reminded to trust Him.

For now, I must say, life is good... how can I not be happy with these two?
